The company manufacture critical components for torque transmission equipment used in drivetrain applications within Naval Marine Propulsion, Oil Gas, Mineral Extraction, Mass Transit and Metal Processing Sectors. Role * To support the Naval Business Director with all elements of project execution which includes project engineering, customer liaison, project purchasing, expediting, production engineering testing. * The role will require the ability to undertake deliverables for multiple projects and embrace accountability for ensuring that work is executed to agreed contractual obligations. * Create and track activities against project plan, continually updating the plans and identifying risk areas to develop contingency plans to address risk mitigation. * Liaise with the project team to ensure that the specifications and commercial requirements are clearly understood and timeframes are met. * Prepare monthly contract cost-to-date and forecast, along with interface with Finance Dept. ensuring milestones are invoiced in a timely manner You * Should be familiar with product design and test principles and comfortable with adherence to project milestones and all that entails. * Naturally meticulous to ensure all internal documentation drawings are correct and fit for purpose ndash; Document Controller experience would be a distinct advantage * Fully conversant with project management tools, data capture and maintenance thereof * Accomplished communicator acting as the focal point for liaison with the Customer * Welcome the prospect of working within a team supporting best practice culture, with the outlook and demeanour to enhance inter-departmental communications, whilst striving for notable customer service levels.
