You will play a vital role in both the home and wider organisation, acting as a positive role model to both staff and our supported individuals. Deputising in the manager #39;s absence and being a creative and innovative leader that supports the home to be a specialist excellent service. Participating in the Companies Out of hours service. Supporting the staff team with the transition of residents in and out of the home. Helping to co-ordinate the homes recruitment process and lead interviews for new staff. Acting as a mentor to new staff and co-ordinate their induction into the home. Supporting the supervision of all staff and reporting on compliance.Requirements: A QCF Level 3 in Health Social Care or equivalent and working towards your Level 4 At least 2 years working within a care home or childrens home At least 1 year experience as a team leader or senior role A good understanding of the Positive behaviour support framework and the active support mode Experience of direct support experience with people with learning disabilities and/or ASC and Challenging Behaviour. Experience of leading a team of staff who support people with learning disabilities and/or ASC and Challenging Behaviour. Ability to work independently, meet targets and supervising staff.
