The role PE Global Healthcare are currently recruiting for 2 Registered Managers based in the Greater Manchester area Duties of the role bull; You will hold accountability and responsibility and for the service 24/7, 365 days a year. In your absence you must organise suitable cover and on-call. bull; You will develop, manage, and have oversight of the service and all regulated activity on site. bull; You will be responsible for ensuring that the service is run well and safely, and that they are compliant with service regulations and standards. bull; Ensure that the directors and provider are fully briefed on all matters relating to the running of the home and that they are not exposed through non-compliance. bull; To provide leadership to the care and nursing, housekeeping, maintenance, and people management functions of the service bull; Create a trusting relationship between residents, relatives, and staff bull; Be responsible for promoting and safeguarding the welfare of those individuals supported by the service bull; Prepare and regularly review the Statement of Purpose for the care home bull; Prepare and regularly review the Service Users Guide for the care home bull; Regularly monitor accidents, incidents and falls and take appropriate action to minimise risk bull; To liaise with a senior manager and notify the local authority of any safeguarding concerns at the earliest opportunity, as required, after being an active participant in discuss. bull; Complete monthly Individual Service summaries and in conjunction with the Directors set priority tasks for the coming week. bull; Participate in the establishment and maintenance of The Home rsquo;s management information systems (Dropbox, S2B, Bright HR, Blip, Limeade QCS etc.). bull; Design and administer an evaluation of the nursing standards and nursing service provision. bull; Liaising with existing local authority customers and developing new relationships to enhance Next Steps reputation. bull; Ensure all aspects of diversity and inclusion are adhered to across all business development work and practice. bull; Ensure the monitoring of standards of care within the home including nursing care and ensuring the required standards as outlined in the Care Standards Act 2000 are fully implemented bull; Review inspection reports from all regulatory bodies. Formulate required corrective/preventative action, agree timescales with line manager and implement remedial actions. bull; To carry out service spot checks and comply with other quality assurance processes as required, including co-operating with monitoring and evaluation tasks. bull; Ensure agreed staffing levels are maintained, that off-duty rotas are completed a minimum of 4 weeks in advance and that a recruitment plan is in place to fill expected vacancies # bull; Ensure the administration and control of drugs is in accordance with Company policy, NMC, Care Quality Commission and Local Authority guidelines bull; Manage the attraction and retention of all staff bull; Be responsible for employment / dismissal and all disciplinary procedures under the supervision of a company director bull; Ensure robust performance management structures are in place to correctly reward and incentivise the right behaviours and effectively and safely manage underperformance and disciplinary issues. bull; Implement and evaluate the orientation and induction of all new employees bull; Assist individual staff to develop in their role and level of compliance with agreed standards bull; Support staff to complete the Care Certificate within agreed timeframes bull; Ensure that relevant staff training and supervision is identified, implemented, evaluated, and recorded to a minimum 85% compliance level bull; Ensure that the company rsquo;s Health Safety policy and strategy is always implemented and adhered to bull; Ensure the maintenance of a safe environment throughout the home and its grounds bull; Maintain strict confidentiality regarding residents, staff, and company business. Education Experience required: bull; Relevant 1st Level Registered Nurse qualification (RMN/RGN) bull; Hold a valid NMC Pin bull; Extensive experience of CQC compliance, legislation, and regulated activities bull; Understanding of financial processes within local authorities bull; Knowledge of GDPR, ICO, DSPT and information governance bull; Experience of working with adults with mental health problems and complex needs bull; Proven personal successful track record of providing outstanding care, support, or education. bull; Resilience, ability to work in a fast-paced, changing environment bull; Ability to concentrate for extended periods on detailed VDU and other work bull; Strong organisational and methodical approach to work with an exceptional attention to detail bull; Ability to lead, manage and motivate staff and delegate work appropriately; bull; Proficient and competent IT user including Microsoft Office; For more information, please get in touch with Emma or Vignesh T - (phone number removed) E -
