Fire security engineer

Fire Security Engineer up to GBP36K + Package Yorkshire 25 days Holiday + Bank Holidays + Paid Christmas Shutdown Paid Travel Time from home to site Howells are working with an established Fire Security contractor operating across Yorkshire and the North West to recruit Fire and Security Engineers to join their servicing and installation teams. They specialise in in active fire and security solutions, offering an unparalleled level of knowledge service in this sector built up over the last 40 years of trading. Your role will be to provide field support for reactive and maintenance works for the existing customer base. You will also be required to carry out small installations, commissioning (if experienced) and the occasional site survey. Systems include fire alarms, intruder alarms, CCTV, access control, emergency lighting, fire extinguishers. Fire Security Engineer Key Responsibilities: Basic troubleshooting, installation, maintenance and repair on designated equipment Completing preventative maintenance and field modifications Keeping up to date on administrative responsibilities such as maintaining customer service log books and internal PDA reporting in a timely manner Maintaining effective communications with customers and office to ensure resolution and proper follow-up Maintaining tools and test equipment and ensuring they are properly calibrated Meeting Health Safety and all other applicable regulatory requirements Identifying and participating in sales opportunities such as new contracts, and system sales Be part of the emergency out of hours standby engineering team and go on the daily call out rotaFire Security Engineer Salary Benefits: Basic Salary GBP28K - GBP36K (Depending on Experience) You can earn up to GBP40K - GBP45K from overtime, call out and bonus Time and a half paid after 40 Hours - Plenty of overtime available if you want it!
