Head of networks and infrastructure

IntaPeople are helping an innovative London tech company looking to recruit a Head of Network and Infrastructure on a permanent basis working in their Orpington offices. As Head of Network and Infrastructure you will design policies, oversee customer service as well as implementing technology solutions and the management of the company rsquo;s network and IT infrastructure. The role involves managing a team of Networking and Infrastructure Engineers, providing technical and professional leadership as well as prioritising and liaising with the customer to plan and execute network and infrastructure projects! The role hellip; You will lead and manage a team of Networking and Infrastructure engineers, ensuring a consistent delivery of SLA rsquo;s, setting performance goals whilst coaching and motivating the team. You will develop and mange the budget for the network and infrastructure team. You will monitor project timelines and track progress. You will develop and execute network architecture strategies. You will collaborate directly with the customer evaluating, recommending and implementing agreed changes. You will collaborate with the organisation rsquo;s cross functional teams. You will manage the organisations IT infrastructure, including servers, storage, cloud services and virtualisation. You will monitor the systems performance and troubleshoot issues. You will ensure compliance with industry standards. About you hellip; You will have strong knowledge of network protocols such as switching, routing and firewalls. Strong communication skills. You will have strong leadership skills, with the ability to motivate teams! You will have good knowledge of infrastructure platforms.
