What #39;s on Offer? * Competitive rates of pay * Freelance Remote work which can be the sole source of income or an additional salary. * Flexible working schedule: You choose the hours you #39;d like to login/offer your services * Orientation training and interpreter app training provided The Role Providing interpreting services to clients and customers with limited English proficiency Answer requests and interpret real-time conversations both ways via phone call, using a dedicated app. Interpreting and translating English to Tamil and Tamil to English over the phone in real time Providing accurate and complete interpretation whilst demonstrating excellent customer service at all times Ideal Person Living in the UK and eligible to work in the UK on a self-employed basis Fluent in both Tamil and English Has in-depth understanding of the cultural dynamics of both languages Previous experience in spoken or written translation and/or interpretation Community Interpreting Level 3 certificate or higher, is desirable but not essential You must hold, or be willing to obtain an Enhanced DBS (Disclosure and Barring Service What #39;s Next?
