CNC Turner Setter/Operator (Fanuc) Hours: 6.00am to 4pm Monday to Thursday Pay Rate: Dependant on experience. We are currently recruiting for a CNC Turner (Fanuc) for our small family run subcontract machine shop. The successful candidates would be expected to have knowledge of working in an JIT Engineering Environment and have experience of the following machinery and control systems. Doosan Puma 3100LY - Doosan Fanuc i Series Knowledge of turn/mill and GUIDE i is an advantage. The successful candidate will be expected to be able to work on their own initiative as well as part of a small production team. What rsquo;s the job? * Must have fixed head Lathe experience. * Ideally some Turn/Mill experience * Use of Fanuc guide i an advantage * Fanuc controls experience. * Time Served Apprenticeship, with an appropriate craft or technical qualification (preferable). * Able to read and interpret technical Engineering drawings. * Able to use inspection equipment such as Micrometres and applicable gauges. Who can do this? * Someone with 5 years experience or completed an appropriate craft apprenticeship. * Someone who can provide a great level of attention to details and focus on the given task. * Someone who have strong standards in quality over quantity. * Someone who can make a positive contribution to maintaining the workplace neat, tidy, healthy and safe. * Someone who is dependable, follow instructions, respond to management direction, take responsibility for own actions and keep commitments.
