Sen teaching assistant

We are looking to recruit x2 full-time SEN teaching assistants to support one of our expanding Partnership Schools that we work closely with. The role would be suitable for applicants that are local to Bedford. A UK driver is preferred; however, we also accept applicants that can demonstrate ability to use public transport effectively. This is a full-time position, working in one of our partnership schools 5 days a week, with working hours of 8:30am ndash; 15:30pm: term time only. We have the option to start ASAP, or we are also recruiting now for roles starting after suitable notice periods for successful candidates. Whilst experience is desirable, it is not essential. Typical TA Duties can include: Working with students who need additional support either on 1:1 basis or in small groups. Motivating and inspiring children to learn and participate in classroom activities. Contribute to record-keeping by recording observations of pupils during the school day. Support the teacher with general classroom and behaviour management. Help to prepare lesson resources. Help to keep the classroom clean and tidy. Working to support the team and students with physical interventions as per the students care plan. Place an emphasis on support and empowerment of young people.
