After many years in the industry they are trusted suppliers to many companies around the world for their bespoke products that are built on site. Due to continued growth, they are now seeking a Supply Chain Manager to work on exciting projects within the business. Key areas of initial focus will be Supplier Re-Negotiation and Inventory Management. You may currently be an experienced Supply Chain Manager looking for their next challenge, in a rewarding and welcoming environment, or you may be in a similar senior position within supply chain/logistics/buying ready for a step up to a new challenge. As a member of the Operations team, your role involves managing and coordinating activities that support the operations. You will be a pivotal part of the team, working collaboratively in a customer-centric and business-savvy capacity, efficiently managing the supplier chain and maintaining inventory levels, whilst employing a logical and methodical problem solving approach and a continual improvement approach. Supply Chain Manager Responsibilities: * Support the Operations Manager by coordinating/managing the Supply Chain And Purchasing activities. * Monitor and Manage the Inventory levels in the Business. Manage the levels to maximise stockturns and increase cashflow * Negotiate Contracts, looking for long term agreements and securing supply of long lead time items. * Produce KPI rsquo;s to demonstrate PPV performance, OTD and lead times. * Lead the procurement team. Supply Chain Manager Requirements: * Experience of Working in a Manufacturing/Engineering Environment * CIPS Qualified (Desirable not essential) * Experience Managing Inventory levels and measuring Stockturns * Commercial Awareness and the ability to negotiate contracts. * Excellent written and verbal communication skills * An ability to challenge the norm * An ability to promote a culture of continuous improvement This is a great opportunity to work for an award winning global business where you will have the opportunity to develop a worthwhile career
