Hgv class 1 drivers day shift

My well known distribution client are looking for Class 1 Drivers day shift for regular ongoing and ad hoc work out of their depot at Tuxford Fantastic company to work for. Start Monday 20th May The work involves collecting from their client locations, strapping loads down and delivering to their other business locations in the South East and South West of the UK pulling a curtain sided trailer. Fantastic friendly working environment. They have just taken delivery of a full fleet of brand new trucks with all up to date technology and equipment. Trucks are fitted with the latest technology for your safety as well as up to date sat nav. Day shift could start from 4am to 4pm Five day working week over a 7 day period or days as required or to fit with your availabilty. The ability to be flexible is key to this role is essential. Long term work always booked at least one week in advance. Fantastic induction and training period which is fully paid. Average shifts are generally around 12-15 hours. Temp to perm opportunities could be available. You will need: -Held Class 1 licence for at least 1 year -Minimum of continuous driving for the past 6 months -A valid CPC -A valid Tacho Card - Maximum 6 points Monday to Friday day rate GBP15.35 per hour Saturday day rate GBP22.85 per hour Sunday/Bank holidays GBP30.70 per hour Please note that the induction is fully paid and lasts for a whole week Monday to Friday. The induction consists of a full driving assessment and on line theory test covering driver hours, highway code and driver hazard perception.
