Sixth Form Administrator Required For Secondary School In Barking Location: Barking, London Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM Contract: Permanent Salary: GBP25,500 - GBP26,391 (dependent on experience) A thriving Sixth Form in Barking is seeking a dedicated Administrator to join our team. This is a fantastic opportunity to play a key role in supporting the smooth operation of our Sixth Form, ensuring students receive the best possible experience during their crucial educational journey. Key Responsibilities: * Managing student attendance records and monitoring punctuality. * Handling admissions processes, including application processing and enrolment. * Utilizing SIMS (School Information Management System) for data entry and management. * Providing administrative support to teaching staff and senior leadership. * Assisting with the coordination of events, such as parent evenings and open days. * Maintaining accurate records and files in compliance with data protection regulations. Requirements: * Previous experience in a similar administrative role, preferably within a school setting. * Proficiency in using SIMS or similar student management systems. * Strong organizational skills with excellent attention to detail. * Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively. * Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. * Flexibility and adaptability to meet the changing needs of the school environment. Term Time Only: This role operates during term time, with an additional week at the end of August to assist with preparation for the new school year.
