Hgv class 1 shunter nights

Menzies Distribution are currently recruiting for experienced HGV Class 1 Shunter Driver to work for our Ellesmere Port depot. The main purpose of the role will be to support with daily deliveries to new and existing customers across the northern region. Full-time, permanent Ellesmere Port, CH65 Shift: 4 on 4 off Nights Times: rotation of: 5pm - 5am 6pm to 6am GBP15.87ph / GBP34,660 pa HGV Shunter Duties: Supporting the depot by loading unloading onsite trailers To carry out vehicle and trailer safety checks prior to commencement of shift complying with appropriate documentation and procedures Ensure vehicle load is safe, secure and correctly positioned Correctly check and accept load documentation and delivery paperwork Correctly check in any returned goods and ensure paperwork is accurate Operate vehicle safely, ensuring driver actions do not endanger self or other road users Undertake any other reasonable job instruction to support the supply of a quality service to the customer Ratchet, Strap corner management duties.
