About the role of Supply Chain Manager This is an exciting opportunity to join a growing business and become an integral part of the team with autonomy and flexible working on offer. This role is a newly created position due to ongoing growth of the division. You will be working in a stand alone position managing supply chain engagement, monitoring businesses that are successful, looking in to risk, leasing with the operations directors on projects and working closely with the senior leadership team. This is a progressive team where ideas are welcomed in order to manage their diverse portfolio. The role will allow the successful candidate to work with new and old suppliers, managing supply chain capacity and making the role your own, but with the support of a large business and team. As you will be working as part of the London and South team travel to sits outside London will sometimes be required. Requirements for Supply Chain Manager The company are looking for a candidate with experience in Materials buying and managing the subcontract supply chain who has progressed through the ranks and has an understanding on the Mechanical and Electrical packages. You will be experienced in relationship management, a confident negotiator and decision maker, excel in supply chain engagement and who is capable of working independently and part of a team. Experience working as a buyer and supply chain manager with a developer or main contractor his is a fast paced position where every day will be different so someone who is organised and successfully manage their own diary and time Independent go getter who can work as a team or individually The company: The company are a specialist Mechanical and Electrical contractor who are part of a larger business with currently GBP250m of projects in London and the South East. With average project value of GBP35m and an increase in work winning in the area. They are a reputable business who are established in the sector and have a steady team, processes and robust client onboarding process.
