Care assistant

We are currently seeking dedicated and compassionate Care Assistants to join our client #39;s team. As a Care Assistant, you will play a crucial role in providing person-centered care to their residents with dementia. They offer both full-time and part-time positions with flexible hours to suit your schedule. Key Responsibilities: middot;Assist residents with daily personal care tasks, including bathing, dressing, and grooming. middot;Provide companionship and emotional support to residents, ensuring they feel valued and understood. middot;Assist with mobility and transfers, using appropriate equipment and techniques. middot;Administer medications and monitor residents #39; health conditions. middot;Perform light housekeeping duties to maintain a clean and safe living environment. middot;Engage residents in meaningful activities and social interactions. middot;Maintain accurate records of care provided and report any changes in residents #39; conditions. Requirements: middot;A genuine passion for working with individuals living with dementia. middot;Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. middot;Patience, empathy, and a caring nature. middot;Ability to work independently and as part of a team. middot;Previous experience in a dementia care setting is preferred but not essential. middot;A valid driver #39;s license and access to a reliable vehicle is essential. middot;Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends.
