Multi skilled maintenance engineer

Elevation Recruitment Group are working with a global packaging manufacturer based n Rotherham to recruit a Multiskilled Engineer. Salary: GBP48,797 Overtime available Hours: 40 hours per week, 8 hour shifts 8:00am to 4:30pm 3 week rotating pattern: Week 1: Monday to Friday Week 2: 4 days worked between Monday to Friday Saturday Week 3: 4 days worked between Monday to Friday Saturday Benefits: Pension: Matched up to 7% Holiday: 25 days holiday + statutory bank holidays Life Assurance: x 4 Annual Salary Free parking Reporting to the Engineering Manager, the Multi Skilled Engineer will be responsible for the maintenance of 17 injection moulding machines ranging from 90 tonne to 2700 tonne and associated ancillary equipment. Duties of the Multiskilled Engineer will include: Carry out breakdown and preventative maintenance on all machinery and fixtures Ensure all preventive maintenance is completed according to schedule Investigate and resolve machine related problems Support with the Maintenance of all machinery and facilities on site Liaise closely with the Shift Engineer / Maintenance Manager on issues regarding production downtime, planned preventative maintenance, and reactive repairs Identify root causes of technical related problems to provide effective countermeasures Analyse, identify and correct/repair any machine issues that prevent or hinder normal planned production timelines and rates. Manage, lead and support on project work and CI initiatives (e.g. OEE, uptime, throughput, waste reduction, housekeeping and process improvement) Work as part of a multi disciplinary team Train and mentor Engineering Apprentices on site We are keen to speak with Multiskilled Engineers with the following skills/experience: Level 3 or above in a multi skilled engineering discipline (Mechanical bias or electrical bias) Time served apprenticeship in engineering Experience working in a fast paced manufacturing environment Experience in repairing and maintaining machines and tools with the ability to read and understand technical drawings Ability to use in house IT systems and Microsoft Office packages Ideally up to date knowledge and experience working with injection moulding machinery and tooling Good knowledge of hydraulics, electrical, pneumatics mechanical (fault finding, maintenance, reading drawings/schematics, etc) Apply now or for a confidential discussion about this Multiskilled Engineers role, please call Jake Shaw or Beth Roberts
