Technical Architect in Central Manchester Technical Architect job in Manchester, my client is now seeking a technically biased architect who is looking to take the next step in their career. The practice was recently named as employer of the year for the second year in a row! This is an opportunity to join an AJ100 practice comprising of architectural and interior design staff currently around 90 employees, they have also recently made an expansion into London. This role will play an integral part in their growth plans for 2024. Role Responsibilities Working with the client from taking the initial brief through to the completion of the project Collaborating with a small team of up to 5 members supporting them across all stages of the projects, and completing project trackers as you go to ensure KPIs are met Assist with the preparation of fee proposals and scope of work documents Using Revit daily Using your knowledge of the UK planning process, regulations and legislation Ensure that you understand and know the financial budgets for all projects you are working on.Required Skills Experience 5 years+ experience post part III experience Great understanding of the UK planning process, building regulations, and all other relevant legislation to enable you to support junior members of staff Previous experience working on retail projects is desirable Excellent technical ability, must be proficient in Revit and AutoCAD Previous experience managing project teams and projects simultaneously Demonstratable experience in running projects across all RIBA stages Experience managing teams of up to 5 Great client-facing skills are essential Awareness of the financial management and budgets of the projects under your control.What you get back GBP40,000 - GBP50,000 DOE Flexitime Hybrid working Annual inflationary linked salary review Bi-annual performance-linked bonus system-based Monthly recognition awards Enhanced maternity and paternity pay Death in service and critical illness insurance Pension contribution 31 days holiday (including Bank Holidays), increasing with length of service Interest-free travel season ticket loans Holiday plus scheme (ability to buy extra holidays) Sabbaticals Cycle to work scheme Quarterly Socials Charity engagementApply If you meet the criteria above, send us your CV and portfolio.
