Head of finance

If so, CMA Recruitment Group may well have the opportunity for you; we are seeking to recruit a technically strong and dynamic Head of Finance, for a highly established organisation on the South Coast. What will the Head of Finance role involve? Production of annual report and accounts in accordance with applicable accounting standards. Ensure strong monthly financial control, signing off the controls completed by the team and regular reporting to Audit and Risk committee on compliance. Manage banking relationships, control bank charges and foreign exchange fees. Support the financial controller who oversees transactional processing and use KPIs to monitor performance, working with the Financial Controller to continually improve performance. Responsible for ensuring VAT compliance and submissions made in accordance with deadlines. Provide leadership and support to the Operational Finance team, develop staff, and ensure appropriate capability in the team. Champion diversity and inclusion across the team. Suitable candidate for Head of Finance: ACA, ACCA or CIMA qualified. Robust financial control and governance knowledge. A confident communicator able to be the face of finance to the wider business. Charity experience desirable, but not essential. Experience of working with an ERP system. Additional benefits and information for Head of Finance: 2 days per week WFH. 33 days holiday. 10% pension contribution.
