Your responsibilities will include: Day to day responsibilities as a Learning Support Assistant: Mentoring and guiding the students in their behavioural development Assisting students with SEN to set and achieve personal and educational targets Engage and assist with various learning activities and programs Implement strategies to manage and de-escalate challenging behaviours Be a positive role model, helping students build confidence and self-esteem Work closely with teachers, parents and other Learning Support Assistants to create a comprehensive support network for each studentQualifications and Experience Previous experience working as a Behaviour/Learning Mentor is preferred Experience in SEN, challenging behaviour, coaching, or youth work is also highly desirable Commitment to safeguarding and promoting welfare of young people Empathetic, patient, and resilient natureWhy become a Learning Support Assistant?
