Job Title: Senior Commissioning Engineer - Electrical (Weapons) Location: Barrow-In-Furness. We offer a range of hybrid and flexible working arrangements - please speak to your recruiter about the options for this particular role Salary: From GBP34,032 + Depending on your skills and experience What you #39;ll be doing: Due to continued growth, we have openings for Commissioning Engineers within our Test and Commissioning team working on our Dreadnought programme In these roles, you will have the opportunity of being responsible for initial power on of equipment and setting into work and into integration with the rest of the platform Acquiring equipment from the build team where you will start initial testing You will also have the responsibility of conducting safe testing of equipment and operations Working together with other team members towards one common goal while collaborating with stakeholders Creating test documentation and aligning systems with build programmeYour skills and experiences: HNC/HND or equivalent in related discipline or STEM subject Experience with combat systems Knowledge of safety controls procedures in a high-risk environment Demonstrable experience of Instrumentation Systems including Electrostatic Discharge, Low Voltage Control, Data Communications Fibre OpticsBenefits: You #39;ll receive benefits including a competitive pension scheme, enhanced annual leave allowance and a Company contributed Share Incentive Plan. The Test and Commissioning team: You will be part of a team responsible for commissioning the first of class Combat System and Tactical Weapons System on the next generation of Dreadnought submarines, working on equipment that is at the forefront of technology and the enhancement of already used systems.
