Transport planner co ordinator

Mainstay are recruiting for 2x permanent transport planners/co-ordinators for our client based in Garretts Green, Birmingham. The role involves working Monday to Friday, 10:00 - 20:00, within a busy transport operation. Our client deals with numerous contracts including pallets network and general haulage, therefore experience of planning in either of those types of operation is very advantageous. General Duties: Planning the most efficient routes for drivers Liaising with customers regarding bookings Helping with co-ordinating the transport operation to ensure the most seamless service The ideal candidate would be able to demonstrate good time management, good teamwork and good communication skills. Along witht these, our client is looking for a candidate willing to go the extra mile to ensure the highest of service qualities for their customers. Salary: GBP28,000 - GBP32,000 per annum - Negotiable dependant on experience 45 hours per week paid, 1 hour lunch break each day.
