Heavy plant fitter

Heavy Plant Fitter Birmingham (Attractive salary benefits package) We are currently looking for a Heavy Plant Fitter for a reputable civils and groundwork #39;s contractor based in Birmingham. Based within their own yard / workshop you will be responsible for the repair and maintenance of their fleet of plant and tools which includes, Excavators, Rollers Dumpers. Experience or a knowledge of makes such as Hitachi, Wacker Neuson and Bomag would be advantageous. Key Responsibilities / Experience / Qualifications: * Conduct routine maintenance and repairs of heavy plant machinery and equipment in the workshop. * Undertake mobile repairs and maintenance at various sites as required. * Diagnose faults and troubleshoot mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical systems of heavy plant equipment. * Perform inspections and ensure compliance with safety regulations and quality standards. * Maintain accurate records of maintenance and repair activities. * Proven experience as a Heavy Plant Fitter, with a solid background in heavy plant machinery maintenance and repair. * Relevant technical qualifications in heavy plant machinery maintenance or a related field.
