Reeson Education is currently seeking a dedicated Full-Time Learning Support Assistant to join a special needs provision in Thornton Heath. This role offers a September 2024 start. The school requires previous experience working with children with SEN. Learning Support Assistant Key Responsibilities: Provide one-to-one and small group support to students with a range of SEN. Assist the class teacher in implementing Individual Education Plans (IEPs) and behaviour management strategies. Foster a supportive and inclusive learning environment that promotes the academic and social development of students. Collaborate effectively with SENCOs, teachers, and parents to ensure the holistic development of each student.Learning Support Assistant Requirements: Previous experience working with children with Special Educational Needs (SEN) is essential. Understanding of various SEN conditions and appropriate support strategies. Strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage effectively with students, colleagues, and parents.
