Contracts Manager - High End / Super-Prime Residential Salary circa GBP85,000 - GBP95,000 (negotiable) + travel paid London This 15-year-old, GBP40m turnover contractor (a leading name in their sector), work on complex and challenging residential refurbishment contracts (traditional contracts NOT Design Build). They are securing some of the best work they have ever undertaken , have a full order book through to the end of 2025 - and in to 2026, and require a Senior Site Manager to join them on this exciting journey. The schemes are generally valued between GBP5m and GBP15m in prime areas such as Chelsea, Holland Park, Notting Hill, Kensington and Mayfair. They have recently secured a GBP10m refurbishment / fit-out project in Holland Park, a GBP10m fit-out and basement construction of a 13,500 sq.ft property in Chelsea and a GBP7m fit-out in Eaton Square. They are very busy! The successful candidate will ideally be a fully-fledged contracts manager, with recent experience of prime central London traditional refurbishment projects. Must be strong on contractual awareness, liaising with architects and generally very strong on handling the flow of information to site. Time spent with previous employers is a big appeal. You would be responsible for two projects (at most) or solely based on one if of a high value due to the levels of procurement, planning, reporting and programming). Typical responsibilities include: middot;All aspects of Programming (Asta ideally) - Ideally, would understand the basics of a programme, the build process and sequence of trades - do not need to be an Asta guru that can do block lines and critical path analysis etc. but the more knowledge the better) middot;Construction Procurement middot;Planning and Site Logistics middot;Health Safety planning middot;Liaising with Clients, Architects and all Design Team members middot;Collaborating with Architects and Designers Working Drawings, Client Approvals etc. middot;Pre-construction interviews middot;Managing and motivating Staff and Site Teams middot;Client Development and liaison Suitable candidates will be able to demonstrate successful delivery on similar super prime London residential refurbishment contracts (traditional contracts NOT Design Build) as a Contracts Manager.
