Quality manager

The Recruitment Crowd are excited to be working with a very established precision engineering company who have a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Quality Manager to join this amazing team. Our client offers bespoke machined components to large manufacturing organisations across Defence, Nuclear, Aerospace, to name a few. As the Quality Manager your overall responsibility will be to lead the quality function of the business, ensuring conformance of product, compliance with applicable regulatory and customer specific standards and continual improvement of business performance. To support the business operational and functional teams in the successful achievement of their objectives Key duties: * Maintain approvals across industry standard certifications and key customers as required, including AS9100, ISO9001, ISO14001, ISO45001, NADCAP (NDT), R-R SABRE, R-R GS3001. * Ensure a robust internal audit schedule is in place and adhered to, conducted in line with best practices and all external audits are organised / conducted effectively. * Quality Management System is kept under continuous review and that all opportunities * for improvement are reviewed and implemented where required. * Ensure robust quality controls are implemented and followed at all points during the manufacturing process and that they are aligned to our customer rsquo;s and regulatory requirements * Ensure accurate recording and resolution of any customer complaints as they arise. * Employ robust quality tools to investigate, correct and prevent non-conformance. * Ensure that the business KPI rsquo;s are aligned with the Quality Management system The ideal candidate * Minimum 5 years experience in a QM Role * Experience of precision engineering (machining, fabrication experience would be advantageous) * Ability to be flexible with regards to additional hours as demanded by the business Hours: 40 hr week, 08:30 ndash; 17:30, 3pm finish Friday, potentially to 07:30am start Benefits: Competitive salary ndash; up to GBP60,000 33 days holiday (incl. bank holidays) Christmas shutdown 4% employer / 4% employee pension contribution Company Sick Pay scheme To apply for this role or to discuss further please speak to Laura at The Recruitment Crowd
