Job Title: Study Centre Lead Location: Highbury Campus, Portsmouth Salary: GBP22,750.00 - GBP24,023.00 (Full-Time Equivalent) Job Type: 30 Hours per week, 40 weeks per annum, Full Time, Permanent. You will be aiding the team in ensuring that students have access to a range of resources, including books, computers and study materials. You will also be collaborating with the study centre team to roll out programs and services that support student learning and success. Additionally, you may also be involved in setting up for workshops or events and adhering to processes in order to enhance the overall learning experience within the college. Key Responsibilities: Supporting of the day-to-day operations of the study centre Supporting in the roll out of processes and guidelines for study centre operatives Collaborate with academic staff to identify and address student learning needs and support academic programmes Supporting in workshops, events and activities to promote student learning and engagement Promote a positive and inclusive learning environment that supports student success and academic achievement.To be successful in this role, below is what we would need from you: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Knowledge of student needs and learning styles Good understanding of educational resources and technologies Proactive and innovative approach to supporting in enhancing service delivery Continuous learning and professional development mindset Flexibility and adaptability to meet evolving student needs Commitment to creating inclusive and accessible learning environmentsDiversity and Inclusion Equality, Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion are central to the work of the College.
