Job Description The post holder will sit on the board with the Managing Director, Finance Director and Human Resources Director, leading a small sales team and drive revenue growth. As a Sales Director, you will be responsible for developing and implementing strategic sales plans to expand the customer base and increase market share. Technical Sales Management bull; Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve company sales targets. bull; Identify and target potential clients (UK and International) bull; Understand client requirements and present suitable solutions. bull; Build and maintain strong, long-lasting customer relationships. bull; Negotiate contracts and close agreements to maximize profits. Project Oversight: bull; Oversee projects from initiation to completion. bull; Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget. bull; Provide technical expertise and guidance to project teams. bull; Monitor project progress and resolve issues to ensure successful project delivery. Technical Expertise: bull; Stay updated with industry trends and advancements in automotive technology. bull; Provide technical support to sales teams and clients, addressing inquiries and concerns. bull; Collaborate with the R D team to align sales strategies with product development efforts. Reporting and Analysis: bull; Prepare regular sales and project status reports for management review. bull; Analyse market trends, customer feedback, and competitor activities to identify opportunities and threats. bull; Provide insights and recommendations to optimize sales and project performance. Team Collaboration: bull; Work closely with internal teams, including sales, engineering, and customer support, to ensure seamless collaboration and customer satisfaction. bull; Mentor and guide junior team members, fostering a positive and productive work environment.
