Setting out engineer

I am looking for an experienced Setting Out Engineer for a Highways project in the Cambridge area. The ability to use GPS and Leica robotic total station for setting out is a must! Main duties: middot;Reporting progress to senior management and keeping diary of completed works middot;Toolbox talks HSEQ briefings. middot;Looking ahead and raising any technical issues. middot;Overlooking gangs ensuring they are working as per design. middot;Pre-start site inspections. middot;Organising plant materials. middot;Writing Risk Assessments. Experience required: middot;Road construction and materials experience. middot;Crossfalls and cambers on road construction experience. middot;Block up and dips for setting out and record keeping. middot;Auto CAD work experience. middot;Problem solving. middot;Working with Contractors such as Asphalt, Planers and White liners.
