A Global manufacturing business turning over GBP15million with aggressive growth plans in the adhesives market looking for an ambitious and experienced Sales Manager to develop their distributor base across Benelux, France and Iberia. BASIC SALARY: 85,000 euro; - 90,000 euro; BENEFITS: middot; Bonus middot; Car or Allowance LOCATION: Homebased in the Netherlands COMMUTABLE LOCATIONS: Amsterdam, Rotterdam, Utrecht JOB DESCRIPTION: Sales Manager, Business Development Manager, Distributor Manager - Hot Melt Adhesives A more detailed brief will be made available to those who are shortlisted but in, as part of the Sales team, you will: middot; Build and execute new commercial strategies and reinvigorate distributor networks to grow Benelux, France and Iberia middot; Further develop the current industrial business whilst looking to make inroads into the trade and retail markets middot; Develop new routes to market to gain distribution of our products across Benelux, France Iberia middot; Develop, negotiate and implement joint yearly business commercial plans and targets in alignment with regional objectives for all European accounts middot; Work closely with partners to ensure that core distribution and sales targets are monitored and met in the key business areas middot; Trains, supports and motivates sales agents/distributors to sell our product range into key end user accounts via product demonstrations, product knowledge and training/demos at the Head Office KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: Sales Manager, Business Development Manager, Distributor Manager - Hot Melt Adhesives middot; Educated to at least degree level within a business, chemistry or engineering discipline. middot; Ideally knowledge of the Adhesives or Industrial Chemical Sector, although we will also consider other industrial products middot; Any knowledge of Hot Melt adhesives, would be of particular Interest middot; Good knowledge and experience of managing partner relationships across Europe (both Distributors and Agents) middot; Proven Track Record of researching and establishing new partners middot; Experience in managing distributors and successfully implementing change initiatives to improve execution and drive expansion as well understanding how various distributor teams operate middot; Proven track record of success middot; Good commercial business planning remaining abreast of changes and opportunities middot; Knowledge of Export, logistics or supply chain management with full through the line delivery in order to maintain customer inventory levels middot; Knowledge of channel management across both the industrial and trade/retail categories PERSON SPECIFICATION: Sales Manager, Business Development Manager, Distributor Manager - Hot Melt Adhesives middot; A natural leader demonstrates passion and commitment and inspires the same in others middot; Hands-on, combining strong strategic planning skills with an eye for detail and a willingness to roll-the sleeves-up when necessary middot; Excellent communicator, influential and persuasive at all levels middot; Focused and driven, highly results oriented middot; A confident self-starter, relishes taking responsibility middot; Sets high standards for themselves and others middot; Fluent in English. middot; If you are fluent in French or Spanish as well, that would be of particular interest.
