Job Title: Mathematics Teacher Location: North East England, County Durham, Stockton-on-Tees Job Type: Temporary, Full-Time hours Primary Industry: Education and Training Salary: Pay to Scale from start of Booking Job Description: We are seeking a dedicated Mathematics Teacher to join our team in Stockton-on-Tees, County Durham. As a Mathematics Teacher, you will be responsible for creating a positive learning environment, delivering engaging lessons, and helping students develop a strong foundation in mathematics. Job Duties: Plan and deliver mathematics lessons to students Assess and evaluate student progress Provide constructive feedback to students Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the curriculum Participate in school meetings and professional development activities Required Qualifications: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) Degree in Mathematics or related field Experience in teaching mathematics at the secondary level Education, Experience, Knowledge, and Skills: Strong knowledge of the UK national curriculum for mathematics Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to motivate and inspire students Organisational and time-management skills Preferred Qualifications: Postgraduate Certificate in Education (PGCE) in Mathematics Experience in using technology in the classroom Working Conditions: This is a temporary position with full-time hours. The successful candidate will work in a school setting, following the school calendar and timetable. The salary will be based on the pay scale from the start of the booking.
