Mechanical Fitter - Water Industry - GBP50k OTE - 33 Days Holiday - Progression - Exciting projects - Paid door to door - 40 Hour Basic Week J3A Recruitment are excited to be working with a well-established M+E contractor who have gained trust with numerous water frameworks over the years. Due to continued growth and further expansion, they are adding to their field teams and are looking to employ experienced Mechanical Fitters who can tackle work within their order book. For the right Mechanical Fitters, you can find yourself working on exciting projects in and around Midlands / Anglian regions. Play a pivotal role in completion of mechanical projects and have the opportunity for further training development. Duties of Mechanical Fitter * General Mechanical duties * Installation of mechanical equipment such as motors, gearboxes, bearings * Fitting of steel support systems * Fault finding on mechanical equipment, Identifying the root causes of mechanical malfunctions, whether they occur unexpectedly (reactive) or as part of planned maintenance and devising effective solutions. * Works can be varied and at times may be required to undertake other duties such as assisting an Electrician or Civils engineer Requirements / Must Haves of the Mechanical Fitter * Mechanical Apprenticeship / Level 3 Mechanical Engineering / Fitting or similar * CSCS Carad * First aid card ndash; desirable * Confined Space trained ndash; desirable * Previous experience in an industrial environment * Full Drivers licence Package for the Mechanical Fitter * GBP17.50 per hour (basic rate) * 40 hour basic week ndash; everything else is overtime rates * Door to door pay - Engineers can earn GBP50k+ * Fully expenses company van * All expenses covered * 33 days holiday * 4% matched pension * Opportunities for progression - People have progressed in to management Other titles considered ndash; Mechanical Technician, Service Engineer, Service Technician, Field Service Engineer, FSE, RSE, Pump Engineer, Mechanical Supervisor / Chargehand, Maintenance Engineer
