Fabrication welding instructor

Educated Appointments are delighted to be supporting a rapidly expanding Group Training Association with training centres in Hull, Grimsby and Scunthorpe to hire a Fabrication/Welding Instructor. Our client are an Ofsted graded 2 #39;Good #39; training provider, which delivers Apprenticeships and both standard and bespoke upskill training courses, providing accredited, industry recognised training from a beginner to an advanced level, all of our courses and standards are taught by highly experienced staff to ensure you receive the best possible training. Main Purpose We are looking for an experienced Welder/Fabricator with knowledge of welding, pipe fitting, plating and sheet metal work, who feels they have the right skills and attributes to pass their knowledge and experience to the next generation of welders/fabricators. Responsibilities You will bring your industry experience and a desire to be part of developing the next generation of skilled technicians. The successful applicant will have good craft/technical skills, good interpersonal skills, basic computer skills and more than five years industrial experience. Qualified to at least City and Guilds Craft certifcate, an HNC qualification or higher will be advantageous, teaching qualifications are desirable but not essential as full support will be given in the development of necessary skills. The position will be based at our Hull site but occasional travel to our other sites and client companies may be necessary therefore a full driving licence and willingness to work nationally is essential.
