This role will see you teaching in a reception class with a high number of pupil premium students. You will be expected to undertake and fully immerse yourself in the day-to-day aspects of a supportive role within the classroom. You will be required to effectively communicate with the teaching staff and lead by example and set high expectations for students. You will be expected to formulate a good understanding of the requirements of your class from an early stage and use Quality First Teaching Methods to engage and support pupils. You will also be expected to utilise available resources to provide maximum impact on pupil learning. You may also be expected to help and guide pupils in their transition from reception to KS1. The EYFS provision is resourceful and has a dedicated team who help children prosper in EYFS and build a framework for life-long learning. The school is a 3-form entry school, and you will be working in a reception with other members of the EYFS team. What you will need to succeed.
