Job Title: Prep Technician Location: Chelmsford CM1 3AE Salary: Up to GBP45,000 (depending on experience and qualifications) + bonus + other excellent benefits listed below NO WEEKENDS! They are actively looking for an Night-shift Prep / Paint Technician for their Body-shop in Chelmsford. About the Job As an experienced Vehicle Prepper, you will be responsible for: * Surface preparation, filling, sanding and cleaning surfaces * Unpacking, handling and preparing parts prior to paint * Minor Filler Jobs * Prepare and clean panels for priming. * Priming * Prepare Vehicles for paint * Polishing About You You will have previous experience preparing cars for painting, ideally from an accident repair background, with a high attention to detail and working to high standards. You will be able to work safely under pressure and be able to plan and manage your workload effectively.
