Accounts assistant part time

Part-time Accounts Assistant (25 hours - Flexible) Based in Halesowen GBP11.50 per hour. As an Accounts Assistant, you will play a key role in supporting the finance team in day-to-day accounting activities. You will have the opportunity to develop your skills and gain practical experience in a supportive and collaborative work environment. Duties: Process invoices and payments accurately and in a timely manner. Assist with the purchase ledger, including data entry, correct nominal coding and ensuring the correct process is used using our purchase invoice processing system. Collaborate with the appropriate teams to resolve any invoice discrepancies and address any related queries. Ensure compliance with accounting principles and regulations. Collaborate with other departments to resolve financial discrepancies. Provide support during audits.Experience: Understanding of accounting principles and practices Excellent attention to detail and accuracy Strong organisational skills and ability to prioritise tasks.
