Electrical contracts manager

Due to continued growth and expansion, we are looking to recruit a Contracts Manager to join our busy installation / large works department. The ideal candidate will need to be capable of overseeing electrical contracts Nationwide, from tender stage through to final installation. The role will include the following: Responsibilities: * Manage all aspects of quotations from reviewing, costing and completion in an efficient, profitable and timely manner whilst monitoring expenditure throughout the entirety of the project. * Ensure all information for the final account is presented and that it is accurate and on time. * To be responsible for the management of the Site Foremen and Site Operatives and to ensure that work undertaken by them is carried out to a satisfactory standard and complies with the company rsquo;s contractual obligations, policies, procedures and work instructions and in accordance with the Company rsquo;s Health and Safety Policy. * Produce site Specific Risk Assessments for individual projects as required. * Liaise with the client as appropriate and update drawings and designs as required. * Attend contract review meetings, site meetings and surveys with colleagues, customers or their representatives. Candidates must possess the following: * Computer Literacy: Word, Excel, and Outlook. * Have good knowledge of the current IEE wiring regulations. * Hold appropriate electrician qualifications. * Knowledge of electrical installations works. * Full driving license. * Previous Contract Manager experience ndash; working with projects with a value of approximately 20k-800k in the Hotel, Leisure, Retail and Commercial Industries. It would be advantageous to have: * IOSH for Construction Site Managers.
