Field service engineer

Field Service Engineer 40 ndash; 45 hours per week based on business needs Salary up to GBP50k depending on experience Steel Cactus Recruitment are very pleased to be working with our client; an extremely reputable and established manufacturer in the West Yorkshire area. Due to business demand; an opportunity has arisen for an experienced Field Service Engineer to join their friendly team working around the UK. The ideal candidate will be keen to contribute and be flexible to accommodate business needs; as there will be on average two nights away per week. Responsibilities bull; Having the ability to liaise with both customers and colleagues to ensure the highest level of customer service. bull; Servicing, maintaining, and installing a range of equipment at customers rsquo; site nationwide. bull; Attend customers site in a timely manner to carry out the task assigned and deliver exceptional customer service. bull; Respond to customer demand promptly and professionally working autonomously aswell as part of a wider team. bull; Install new machines and provide full operator training individually and as part of a team. bull; This post does involve regular travel and overnight stays at occasionally short notice, as required. Required skills bull; Recognised electrical engineering qualification. bull; Field engineering experience is essential. bull; PLC interrogation experience is essential. In particular Siemens S7/TIA OMRON bull; Excellent communication skills and the ability to be a team player. bull; Full UK driving licence
