Multi skilled maintenance engineer

We are recruiting for Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer for a manufacturing company based in Middlesbrough. This is a full time and permanent role. This role offers a days only shift pattern, Monday to Friday, No Weekends!!! The hours are Monday to Friday 8am to 4.30pm. Overtime may be on offer as and when. The Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer role involves: * Mechanical and Electrical maintenance on a wide variety of machinery including CNC machines, automatic saws and edge polishers. * You will also be working on water re-cycling plant, lifting equipment, single and 3 phase electrical motors, ultra-low voltage drive systems, pumps, pneumatic and hydraulic systems. * Breakdown response to reduce machine downtime as much as possible * Increase efficiency through thorough execution of PPM planned maintenances schedules * Help maintain quality of engineering stores via correct usage and communications, accurately record usage of common parts/spares from stores to minimise the risk of stock outage. * Manufacture spare parts as required (Simple Bracketry Gaskets etc.) using hand tools, various machines, welding equipment,. * Assist with implementation of engineering projects/cost effective repairs * Complete appreciation/respect of overall health and safety at work We #39;re looking for the following; * Previous electrical maintenance experience in a fast-moving manufacturing environment (preferably 3yrs or more) * Previous mechanical maintenance experience in a fast-moving manufacturing environment (preferably 3yrs or more) * Previous experience working on CNC machines, Hydraulic systems, Pneumatic systems, Robotics (Desired but not essential), Control systems including PLC`s * PLC Programming experience. (desirable) and PLC fault finding skills. * Time served apprenticeship/Level 3 NVQ or equivalent in maintenance engineering * 18th edition electrical qualifications would be preferable but not essential. * Good Fault finding and root cause analysis skills * Previous experience with PPM and TPM systems * Good interpersonal skills * Computer literacy Benefits: * Starting salary of GBP40000 * 22 days flexible annual holiday plus bank holidays * Pension If you #39;re interested in this role please apply with an up to date cv and we will contact you to discuss the role further
