Scheduler

Premier Work Support are currently recruiting for temporary Schedulers for our client in Romford, Essex. The successful candidates will be responsible for efficiently scheduling and coordinating appointments for jobs using the various suite of company applications. This role plays a crucial part in ensuring smooth operations by effectively managing the appointment calendar and ensuring timely scheduling of jobs for all operatives. Key Responsibilities: To control the receipt of approved projects within the area and ensure they are accurately recorded on the appropriate systems. To schedule work into an agreed programme and apply for all relevant NRSWA permits, traffic orders, and traffic management plans. To prepare programmes of work with our local delivery partners and attend weekly meetings. Build and maintain relationships with all Highway Authorities in the area particularly the permit office. Update actual progress on a weekly basis within microsoft project. To reschedule the programme if required and assist with the creation of daily/weekly team project whearabouts.Qualifications and Skills: Experience in programme planning and management. Good organisation and planning skills Thorough knowledge of microsoft project is desirable although internal training will be given. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact with customers, operatives, and internal teams.Key Competences: Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills. Team player. Attention to detail and accuracy along with the ability to multi task. Ability to work under pressure.This role is hybrid with 3 days in the office and 2 days working from home, the working hours are 8.30am - 5.00pm, Monday to Friday. This is a temporary role however there may be an opportunity for permanent employment for the right candidate
