Finance manager

We have a great new finance role for a Finance Manager. The finance manager will play a pivotal role in supporting the head of finance by ensuring the smooth delivery of monthly accounts and reporting packs. This is also a great opportunity to develop your leadership skills as you will manage a small team which will grow over the next 18 months. The finance manager will also gain exposure to the senior stakeholders across the operations and sales functions. Key Responsibilities Lead the preparation of monthly management accounts and reporting for the business, encompassing P L, KPI #39;s, Balance Sheet and Cashflow Statements Perform monthly balance sheet reconciliations Assist in the annual budget process and re-forecasts, providing detailed commentary Assist with a number of high profile M A projects Implement robust financial control procedures, systems and processes, regular reviewing them for enhancements Co-ordinate and oversee the annual audit and liaise with the auditors Work alongside the finance business partners to drive commercial decision making The person You must hold a formal accounting qualification ACA/ACCA/CIMA Good breadth of management and financial reporting experience Advanced Excel skills. - Power BI would be advantageous Knowledge of IFRS 16 would be advantageous Good verbal and written communication skills This is a great opportunity to join a successful, growing business which can offer candidates good career prospects within a friendly, collaborative culture and a hybrid working environment
