Electrical supervisor

Electrical Supervisor GBP35,000 ndash; GBP45,000 Permanent Devizes, Wiltshire (Covering the entire South-West) Job Purpose To work practically when required, in addition to building relationships and managing sub-contractors, assisting with the estimating for electrical works and providing certification for completed works. Roles Responsibilities The supervisor will be responsible for the safety, technical standard and quality of the electrical work carried out. They will also be required to ensure that the work is carried out in accordance with BS7671, HSE requirements and company policy and procedures. In addition, they will be required to assist with audit/inspections as and when required. * Complete on-going electrical testing (EICRs) * As an EQS you will also be responsible for checking and signing off electrical certification carried out by the other electricians as well as notifying building control of any new installation works * Carrying out post inspections on works that have been carried out, completing site visits with the electricians * You may also get involved with our other work streams; this may include: * Planned works - Electrical installations for new kitchens bathrooms * Voids - Repairs, rewire, testing and general upgrade works of void properties before they are re-let * Response maintenance - such as electrical repair, maintenance, and breakdowns * Insurance works ndash; Such as electrical repair, testing and installations Skills and Qualifications * Full UK driving licence * At least 2 years rsquo; experience in a supervisory role * Qualified to an NVQ level 3 Electrical Installation * 2391 - Testing and Inspection (or equivalent) * 2382 BS7671 - 18th Edition wiring regulations * Commercially focused * Personable with excellent written and verbal communication * Additional relevant licences or qualifications would be advantageous Personal Specification * Exceptional, professional, and friendly customer service skills whilst working in customer facing environments; in people #39;s homes and communal areas. * A team player who is always willing to help others. * Ability to work independently. * Punctual and precise * Flexible and adaptable to change
