It support technician

Role: IT Support Technician Location: Kirby, Liverpool Salary: GBP20,000 - GBP26,000 DOE We are currently looking to recruit an IT Support Technician for a well-established Managed Service Provider based on the outskirts of Liverpool. The company are growing their team and are on the look out for an enthusiastic 1st/2nd Line Engineer who has experience working at this level. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing technical assistance to clients covering IT Support, Networking and Infrastructure using Microsoft packages, AD, email management, hardware software support. Responsibilities: Responding to queries either in person, email or over the phone Managing tickets, resolving or escalating Installing and configuring computer hardware operating systems and applications Setting up new users #39; accounts and profiles and dealing with password issues Anti-virus monitoring and support Backup management Occasionally attend client sites when required Supporting the roll-out of new applications Provide or update documentation to help with processes Prioritising and managing many open cases at one timeTechnical and personal requirements: Knowledge of basic networking including understanding of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, WAN/LAN Office 365 Administration Antivirus / Security platforms Virtualisation - VMWare or Hyper-V Windows Operating Systems and Server support Excellent diagnostic and problem solving skills Good communication skills Ability to work well in a team Ability to provide step-by-step technical help and adviceBenefits: 25 days holiday plus bank holidays Free on-site parking Wellbeing packages / Gym memberships Regular team socials Company annual bonus Flexible working structure Great pension schemeIf this role is of interest to you, please apply for immediate consideration and interview.
