As a study skills tutor you will be supporting students within the Birmingham area who have learning difficulties. Responsibilities: Provide tailored one-to-one support with students you have been assigned to based on their specific learning difficulties Assist students with organisational skills such as, time management, creating action plans to work towards deadlines Help with their research skills by assisting them to access ranges of resources Provide help with writing skills, how to structure their work Encourage students to build on existing strengths so they are able to develop on their independence Behave in a confidential and professional manner at all time with students Work closely with Randstad and ensure any concerns regarding students are communicated immediately Requirements: Holds a degree AND Teaching Certificate / Qualification AND Six National Autistic Society (NAS) online training modules Understanding autism Autism and communication Autism and sensory experience Autism, stress and anxiety Autism: supporting families Autism and Girls Benefits of being a tutor with Randstad: GBP31.38 per hour (this includes your holiday pay) #39;Refer-a-Friend #39; scheme where you could have a chance of earning GBP300 in vouchers!
