Retrofit solutions engineer

Retrofit Solutions Engineer Filton 6-month Contract Paying up to GBP55p/h DOE (umbrella) ARM has partnered with a large Aerospace client who looking for an experienced Retrofit Solutions Engineer to work out of their site based in Filton. As the Retrofit Solutions Engineer, you #39;ll be part of the Systems and Connectivity Retrofit Solutions team responsible for creating technical information for the production of the instruction dossiers ( #39;Service Bulletin #39;s) to implement improvement and upgrade modification. Responsibilities: * Gathering information for Engineering data for the Service Bulletins including - Feasibility analysis, Compliance with Airworthiness requirements, Continuous improvement initiatives, the identification of installation drawings design solutions, and configuration management * Providing retrofit solutions and service Bulletin updates * Support in the creation of optimum solutions and to support ongoing activities. Experience required: * Any relevant Engineering degree (or in combination with another) such as Aerospace, Mechanical, or Systems. * Familiar with Installations and drawings * Knowledge of computer-aided design e.g. CATIA. * Ideally have aerospace experience and be familiar with wing landing gear systems. * Experience with Engineering System Installation configuration management. * Ideally be familiar with DPDS, APS or AIRINA tools.
