Estimating Manager / Pre-Construction Manager Civil Engineering Northampton GBP80,000 - GBP100,000 + (DOE) The Company: An exciting opportunity for an Estimating Manager / Pre-Construction Manager to join a Contractor in the Northampton area. As a major UK contractor my client has a diversified workload. Boasting a strong reputation for providing high standards of project delivery, and an ability to innovate. My client enjoys a turnover of cGBP35 million with plans and pipeline to reach cGBP45 million by the end of 2025 out of the Northampton area with projects ranging from GBP2 Mil - GBP40 Mil. My client would also highly consider a Senior Estimator and/or Bid Manager who is ready to step up into a more senior role. About The Role: As the Estimating Manager / Pre-Construction Manager you will play an integral role in tendering and winning work in the Midlands area alongside: bull; Creating and understanding specifications. bull; Building relationships with clients. bull; Being responsible for the Estimating / Pre-Construction Team. bull; To lead and manage internal Estimating / Pre-Construction meetings, ensuring each enquiry is assigned to an estimator, taking notes ensuring actions are completed by the required dates. bull; Overseeing and checking of all tenders before submissions, ensuring they are accurate, fully considered well-presented meeting the client rsquo;s expectations. bull; Reporting and working closely with the Director. About You: bull; Experience presenting quotes and specifications to clients. bull; Great technical knowledge. bull; Experience with Local Authority and Highways (Not Essential). bull; Live in a commutable distance to Northampton. bull; Minimum of 5 years #39; experience within Estimating. bull; Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. bull; The individual will be highly self-motivated with the ability to work alone or within a team.
