Category Executive/ Buyer + upto GBP33k basic + 33 days holiday + extra company benefits Our client are a UK leading distributor of food and beverage products and they have an exciting opportunity for a Category Executive/ Buyer to join them at their Slough office. Are you driven by results, have a creative flair and a passion for the customer? If so a role within their fast paced Group Commercial team could be for you! This role will be supporting the category plans and growth campaigns to increase market share, drive revenue and support our customers in making their lives rsquo; easier and grow their business. You will provide the Category team with invaluable insight into market trends and consumer/customer needs to drive our product and category strategies. You will have a creative flair in identifying growth opportunities and developing category management plans which deliver the right product range to the right customer, meeting both the customer and business needs. Your category plans will incorporate our commercial strategy, supporting both our their Brand and Branded business as well as integrating our various channels and sectors. You will take ownership for the category collateral assets and their execution through the Campaign Activation team. The role will be working cross functionally with a number of different departments both internally and externally including Buying, Sales teams and Suppliers. A bit about you hellip; * You will be confident in analysing and interpreting data to identify trends and opportunities * You will be a strong relationships builder and be able to communicate effectively with various stakeholders * You will have great influencing skills * You will have experience of working in a fast paced environment and be comfortable with meeting deadlines * Creativity and lsquo;thinking outside the box rsquo; are key; demonstrating that you are a champion of innovation on a daily basis to inspire colleagues and customers to adopt new ways of working * Lastly... a relevant degree or category management experience is required for this role, and a passion for food is an advantage! This role will be based in their Head office in Slough, although the role will involve some homeworking along with additional travel when required
