Site manager

We Build Recruitment are on the lookout for a Site Manager/ Site based project manager based preferably in the lsquo;south rsquo; to join am already established fitout/ interiors business that specialise in the hospitality/leisure sector. Projects are generally commercial and consist of bars and restaurants but also stretches to the like of commercial kitchens in universities. The salary is negotiable and dependant on experience but a rough guideline is GBP45-GBP55,000. The jobs are generally based in the South (In and around London or on the wider southern coast) and as this role is site based it rsquo;s expected you rsquo;d be able to travel to site, compensated of course. On occasion, it may require you to travel further but the majority of the work is based further south. Job Role: * Run projects on a day to day basis from start to finish, including any required pre construction duties * Deliver projects according to the agreed timescales within budgets set * Ensure high levels of quality throughout the project, fixing any errors when they may occur * Ensure maximum health Safety at all times * Provide frequent reports to head office on the update of projects * Attending and leading client site visits/meetings * Carrying out site surveys where required * Ensure all site paperwork and contracts remain up to date and correct * Work with staff and sub contractors on any potential snags to ensure the best quality of work before handover Skills and Qualifications: * Previous experience as a Site Manager * You must have prior experience with fitout/interiors with a preference going to those with a background in Hospitality/leisure * Ability to work independently and make decisive decisions * Strong time management skills to ensure you meet agreed deadlines * SMSTS, CSCS (black) and First Aid are a must * PASMA and Abestos Awareness are desirable too If you meet the above requirements and are interested in this Site Manager role, please click lsquo;apply now rsquo; and a member of our team will be in contact
