Sen teaching assistant

Early Years SEN Teaching Assistant - Bury (BL8) Teaching Personnel are working in partnership with a local primary school, looking to hire a Teaching Assistant to work full- time with a pupil with undiagnosed SEN in Early Years. This role will be commencing in September, after the summer holidays. The role will be working with a pupil on a 1:1 basis, as well as providing general assistance in the Early Years provision. This school is an Ofsted graded lsquo;GOOD rsquo; primary school, with a support and hands-on SLT. Our client is a medium, modern primary school with a population of around 350 pupils, situated in the Elton area of Bury making it easily accessible from the surrounding areas, with great transport links. The ideal candidate will: Have experience with EYFS and/or SEND - either professionally or personally e.g. a family member Be resilient and confident with challenging behaviour Have a nurturing personality and be non-judgemental Be able to follow instructions and be pro-active Adhere to the school safeguarding policies Have a passion to work with children Previous experience working in a Primary School is desired but not essential All applicants will require the appropriate qualifications and training for this role.
