Technical Co-ordinator - Residential Norfolk GBP50,000 to GBP55,000 plus package 12 month fix term contract OR717 Our client is a high profile award winning developer based in Norfolk. The company have an excellent reputation for delivering highly desired, contemporary homes. The company is ambitious and due to organic growth, they are actively searching for an experienced Technical Co-ordinator. The ideal candidate will be joining a small team managing the technical aspect of residential developments. The role would suit either an up and coming co-ordinator looking to take the next step up or an established technical coordinator. Hybrid working is offered. ROLE: * Obtain Technical Drawings and approvals to enable efficient site starts * Brief, manage and drive the external consultants in the preparation and issue of production information to an agreed programme, fee and scope * Prepare the Design Programme and present it at Progression Meetings * Ensure all statutory enquiries, sewer connections and other section agreements are submitted and pursued for their timely return * Oversee the NHBC/Building Regulations applications to approval * Ensure that working drawings are in accordance with the approved Planning Scheme, and ensure discharge of planning conditions * Oversee preparation of Brochure Plans, Conveyance Plans and Sales Area drawings * Attend site progress meetings and carry out site inspection * Attend meetings at various stages of projects (Land/Technical hand-over, Project Meeting, Optimisation, Progression, Technical/Sales, Budget Meetings, etc.) * Liaise and coordinate other parties, both internal and external * Attend Subcontractor interviews * Respond to site queries and resolve Technical/Construction problems * Issue drawings and information for construction purposes CANDIDATE: * Must have a strong track record within the residential sector * Have previous experience of working for a residential developer or consultancy * Ideally degree educated within a construction related subject
