Principal mechanical engineer

Principal Mechanical Engineer Location: North West London or Buckinghamshire Salary: GBP60,000 to GBP70,000 Our client, a market leader withing the Maritime Defence industry are currently looking for a Principal Mechanical Design Engineer to provide Mechanical Design tasks throughout the full Design lifecycle. Your duties: * Requirements analysis * Mechanical Systems Design * Produce detailed Mechanical drawings * Produce assembly drawings * COTS based component selection * Technical documentation * Stress, Environmental and Thermal analysis and reporting * In service support * Support bids by providing input on technical solutions Skills, qualifications and experience: * A relevant STEM subject Degree * Strong Mechanical Design experience * Environmental and Thermal analysis / reporting experience * Able to produce technical reports / documentation
