Our client is a very successful supplier of special alloy components, supplying OEM rsquo;s in the Aerospace and Industrial Gas Turbine sectors, with 70 years of industry leading experience. We now have an opportunity for a Tooling Dimensional Engineer to join their Manufacturing Engineering Team. Annual Salary - circa GBP30,000 Company pension scheme, company will match contributions to a maximum of 7.5% Quarterly Cash Bonus Scheme Gym Membership Discounts, Employee Assistance Programme, Instant Discounts on over 80 high street brands, Cinema Discounts DC Pension Scheme The Role: Working alongside the experienced Manufacturing Engineering team the Tooling Dimensional Engineer will: middot; Introduce tooling and dimensional processes that meet customer specification and AETC expectation. middot; Improve our dimensional process capability. Tooling Dimensional Engineer Requirements: middot; Promotion and introduction of safe working practices middot; Provide reports and statistical evidence to support dimensional validations and tolerance buy-offs middot; Tooling Specification and liaison with toolmakers middot; Tooling procurement middot; Runner system design and CAD Modelling middot; Preparation of component CAD models for Pattern Die Tooling middot; Gauge and fixture specification / procurement middot; Providing planning documentation middot; Continuous improvement of processes middot; Controlling tool modifications (cost / timing and technical control) middot; Defining internal dimensional process tolerances (IE wax w/t and CMM tolerances) middot; Adhere to all company policies and procedures, including SOX, Code of Conduct and Health and Safety middot; Undertake any other reasonable duties as required by the Engineering Management Candidate Requirements: middot; Engineering Degree ndash; Preferably in Mechanical Engineering middot; Good knowledge of 3D CAD Package ndash; Preferably in Siemens NX middot; Pay attentions to details middot; End-user Knowledge of ERP Software i.e. SAP middot; Good understanding of GD T middot; Able to Read and Understand complex 2D drawings middot; Proficient in use of MS Office i.e. Excel, PowerPoint, Word middot; Good knowledge of Statistics middot; Good verbal and written communication skills across all level of business middot; Ability to work on and resolve complex problems middot; Unrestricted work eligibility in the UK ndash; Sponsorship is not available Core days hours are as follows: Mon/Tuesday 7.30am to 16.30pm Wed/Thurs 7.30am to 16.15pm Fri 7.30am to 12.00 noon
